A Life That Keeps on Giving

Today has been a bittersweet day. Although we have had to let Brandon go, there is joy that has come in the mourning. Even in his passing Brandon has saved others. Just this morning his liver and kidney have been donated to two individuals in need. His heart has also been given to research and through new discoveries will go on to save countless lives.

All the way through the finish line Brandon continued to give.

  2. What a wonderful act of kindness and gratitude of a life well lived! I am dear friends with Vic and Becky and go to Peachtree Presbyterian. Several years ago my sister in law passed away while waiting for a lung transplant. I truly know the gift Brandon gave. God bless him. The Peachtree family is praying for all the Pentz families. We love y'all.

  3. Brandon is still giving, you are so right. Those families prayers were answered by Brandon's selflessness. We can't begin to imagine your pain but we cling to all the blessings posted here and hope that you may find some comfort in the prayers of your friends and in the Life of Brandon that is living on in others. If we could take your pain away, we surely would. We love you all so much, Mitch, Karen, and Danielle

  4. My deepest sympathies go out to the Pentz Family. Not many people can say that they contributed to society by saving another's life. Brandon, in his death, was able to save others. What an unselfish act and difficult decision you guys made under horrendous circumstances. Your love and generosity allows Brandon to live on. May you sense the presence of the peace that passes all understanding. My prayers are with you and yours today.

  8. Brandon,

It was such an honor to know you! You just had that special thing about you. You walked it to a room and everyone couldn't help but gravitate towards you. It was like you had the secret of life because you were just happy. You really did everything with a smile on your face:) You would drop everything to help someone else, and now you're doing it in the after life. Brandon what a precious life/soul you are. We are going to miss you every day but it brings me happiness to know that heaven just got that much better, I'm sure you have everyone laughing and you have just stole the hearts of every girl there too lol. Brandon Pentz you wild animal! You're missed. Pentz Family we are so sorry for your loss, you are truly blessed for such an amazing son/brother/uncle he will be with you forever...

    Love always

  9. How fitting that Brandon's organs be donated to others in need! He has always been one to help out a friend or stranger. We are strong supporters of organ donation and want to thank you for making this most unselfish decision to donate his organs, in the mist of your own heartache and grief, to save the life or lives of another. Your family continues to be in our thoughts and prayers. Brandon's tragic accident and passing have saddened us so much. We are heart broken. If only we could take away some of your pain and sorrow. We rejoice in the knowledge of everlasting life and are extremely blessed knowing that we will one day be together again. What a comfort it is knowing that we will again see Brandon. God is watching over your family at this time and is very aware of your pain and suffering. May you feel his love and support always.

  10. There could be no more beautiful parting gift than the gift of life. The Pentz family epitomizes what it means to live the Word, even when your heart is breaking.

  11. How wonderful that during your darkest and saddest moments you have thought to give rather than receive. Your donations of Brandon's organs will be a living legacy for him. How joyful the families of those who received such a precious gift must be. I know that they are also aware that their happiness is the result of someone else's grief. May God bless you and give you comfort. Libby & Don Boykin

  12. I love you Pentz Family. You all have been a blessing to me and so many others. We watch you grieve but with a blessed hope, that though it all, lives will be saved throuh a faith tried and tested and shared with others. And to top it all, a willingness to share Brandon's physical being to others who are in desparate need. I can only hope to be where you are when the rubber meets the road. By God's grace, His Spirit, and His strength I suppose I will.

May God bless you and brighten these dark days as we go forth.

  13. Pentz Family,
We are so sorry to hear about Brandon's final journey. Even in this, your faith is apparent. We are praying that God will continue to comfort you. Donating is a way Brandon lives on in the lives of those he is serving in this way. Praise our Lord and Savior for His strength and the peace only God can give. Our hearts are broken for you, but we know God is our only hope. In His Love,Evelyn & Don Lee

  16. There was an Act of God....HE took Brandon Home; and while this alone does not bring us joy...nor peace; We can take comfort in knowing that GOD promises PEACE and JOY through our trials. " For unto us a SAVIOR is born........and He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, PRINCE OF PEACE" matt 10:34
I never knew Brandon or his family. I DO know a young man that had a similar accident, I see him weekly at Western Rehab in Grand Terrace. His name is Josh Patton. God has been merciful. You see...unlike Brandon, Josh doesn't know the Lord...God definitely knows Josh tho...and HE is bekoning Josh, as well as many others around him to Seek and Accept the Lord, Christ Our Savior.
Prayers of Peace and Joy to all of Brandon's family and friends.

  17. Oran, Laura and Natalie,
I know that Mark and Melissa were with you during that difficult week. I wish that we were there with you. Dave and I prayed each day for Brandon and your family to have strength and peace. You as parents brought up the most wonderful children. Often Mark commented that Brandon was the little brother he never had. Your influence on our family during some of our most difficult times were a light straight from GOD. We enjoyed Brandon during our famliy vacations to the beach and all the fun we had together. The Baltagi Children and Mills Family want you to know that Brandon lives within us with each of those memories. We pray for comfort, support and strength.
    We love you all,
    Susan and Dave Mills

  18. Dear Pentz family,
You don't know me but I was blessed to know Brandon. We worked together at Pan-Pacific. I was so shocked and saddened when I heard late last night that he was gone. My heart fell into my stomach. Your son was such a joy and gift in my life. I always knew that brandon would have a smile or something funny to say every time I saw him. This world will not be the same without your beautiful son in it! God is one lucky guy to have Brandon in heaven with Him right now! I am glad I have hope that I will get to see him again someday! Love and peace to you all!

    Your sister in Christ,
    Emily Tanner
